The XRM-ZBT is an I/O Module which provides extra ZBT memory.
The XRM-ZBT is suitable for mating with some of our FPGA based cards. The XRM-ZBT provides 2 banks of between 256K and 2048K x 36-bit ZBT pipelined memory, directly accessible by the FPGA. The XRM-ZBT also features 2 RS232 ports on the front panel.

The XRM-ZBT is available for XRM and XRM2 based FPGA products.
The battery is needed for the "AES Bitstream Encryption" capability of the Xilinx® Devices. It is required to maintain the AES encryption key such that the FPGA can be loaded with an encrypted bitstream. For all applications using this function either the FPGA board or the attached XRM must have the battery facility.
The XRM provides holders for two back-up batteries. Uses SR60 or equivalent batteries.
