Qualifications:
This role would suit a recent Electronics Engineering Graduate with a software focus, or an Informatics or Computer Science Graduate with interest in hardware and may be especially interesting to those who have completed a joint computing and electronics degree.
Preferred Skills and technical interests:
Strong software development skills in C/C++ and some exposure to embedded systems is required.
Interest in low level development of drivers and APIs is desired.
Experience of, and interest in, using FPGAs and SoC devices with CPUs will be beneficial.
Web Design, Java or System administration skills in addition to the above skills may also be useful.
Office Location:
Our modern office is located to the west of Edinburgh City Centre in the Fountainbridge area, close to areas popular with young professionals such as Bruntsfield, Polwarth and Dalry, and with excellent transport links available across the central belt via the nearby Haymarket Station.
