Summary

PC plug-in card to allow up to two XMC boards to be used in the PC.

Capable of supporting the use of x1, x2,x4 and x8 PCIe Gen2 signalling environments in x8 or x16 PCIe slots. There are two XMC sites on the card which support either one x8 PCIe or two x4 PCIe links (for each XMC site). VPWR provided to the XMC site is set to 12V.

Dual XMC adapter for PCI-Express workstations.

Board Features

On-board PCI Express Bridge connects both XMCs to motherboard PCIe
PCI Express power connector
Allows direct communication between the XMC sites
Supplied with a debug/adaptor board (order code ADT-XMC) for connecting 19 single ended, and 16 differential pairs to external I/O
All external I/O (single ended, differential, and high speed serial IO (HSSIO)) can be chained to nearby ADC-XMC-IIs for inter XMC communication
